Sustainability:
Sustainability, low-tox living and environmental responsibility sit at the heart of our practice. We are committed to specifying environmentally responsible, low-tox and carefully sourced materials across all our projects, considering not only how a product looks, but how it is made, how it performs and how it will endure over time.

In recent years, we have devoted considerable time to researching and testing products that minimise harmful emissions, reduce reliance on synthetic chemicals and support traditional, breathable building methods. We prioritise natural fibres, mineral and plant-based paints, responsibly sourced timber and finishes that contribute to a healthier indoor environment. As a result, we have established a carefully considered palette of materials and finishes that promote wellbeing while maintaining a timeless aesthetic.

Longevity is central to our approach. We favour restoration over replacement wherever possible and are strong advocates for retaining original features within historic buildings. Alongside this, we curate antique furniture, selecting pieces for their craftsmanship, provenance and enduring quality. By incorporating antiques into our projects, we reduce demand for newly manufactured goods and ensure that the furnishings we introduce are designed to stand the test of time.
For us, sustainability is not an addition but a guiding principle. It shapes the way we design, source and build, ensuring that the homes we create are as responsible as they are beautiful.
